Inspired by author and poet, Kathryn Wadell Takara PhD’s collection of poems from her trip to the Big Island during Kilauea’s 2018 eruption, the cover design for Red Dreams Volcano Visions features two original  mixed media illustrations which were inspired by the natural beauty of the volcanos, as well as the mythos of Pele here in Hawaii.
